A 15-year-old boy has died after his dirt bike collided with a transport truck in northern New Brunswick.
First responders were called to the scene of the crash on Industrielle Road in Rivière-Verte around 4:50 p.m. Thursday.
“The collision is believed to have occurred when the motocross and the transport truck collided on a remote part of the road,” RCMP said in a news release on Friday.
The teen suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash and later died in the hospital. He was from the nearby community of Saint-Basile.
Investigators are still piecing together the cause of the crash.
