New Brunswick drivers are waking up Friday to a nice break at the fuel pumps.
Gasoline and diesel prices both fell by more than four cents per litre overnight.
The new maximum price for regular self-serve is $1.68 per litre, a drop of 4.1 cents.
Diesel prices fell by 4.6 cents to a new maximum of $1.68 per litre.
Most local stations are selling both fuels for a few cents less.
The price of heating oil also fell by nearly five cents to a new maximum of just under $1.39 per litre.
In Nova Scotia, regular self-serve ranges from $1.68 to $1.73 per litre while diesel is selling for between $1.68 and $1.72 per litre.
On Prince Edward Island, the price for regular self-serve is around $1.69 per litre, diesel costs around $1.73 per litre, and home heating oil is selling for a maximum of $1.19 per litre.
The New Brunswick Energy and Utilities Board adjusts prices every Friday at 12:01 a.m.
