A quick response from all Moncton fire stations after a small fire on the roof of the Moncton Hospital was reported.
Moncton Fire Platoon Chief Brian McDonald says they received a 911 call at around 11:30 Wednesday morning.
A construction crew was working on the roof when the fire broke out.

McDonald says it was quickly extinguished and damage to the roof is minimal.
No evacuation was required.
Firefighters were on the scene for less than an hour.
