Woodstock’s Yogi Bear campground gets new owners

A well-known New Brunswick campground has been sold.

Matthew Jelley of Maritime Fun Group has purchased Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park, located off the Trans-Canada Highway in Woodstock

Peter and Janet Clark have owned the 80-acre campground for the past 42 years and have made major investments to grow the site to include waterslides, a heated pool and other features.

“Matthew and the Maritime Fun Group are an ideal fit for Jellystone Park; we feel confident that the campground is in good hands moving forward,” Peter and Janet stated.

Maritime Fun Group owns over 20 properties including Magic Mountain located in Moncton.

“We are very excited about this opportunity as Jellystone Park is a business that very much fits what we do at the Maritime Fun Group,” shared Jelley.

“Our vision and values are much aligned with Jellystone Park. We are excited to continue the legacy that Peter and Janet have built over the last 42 years.”
