Charity walk supports youth mental health

Join Canada’s largest charity walk for children and youth on Sunday, May 5.

Walk so Kids Can Talk supports Kids Help Phone, a lifeline for children and youth struggling with mental health.

The five-kilometre family-friendly and pet-friendly walk can either be done in person or virtually in 17 communities nationwide, including two events in New Brunswick.

Moncton’s starting location is Riverfront Park, and Rockwood Park for Saint John.

Registration is at 10 a.m., and the walk begins at 11 a.m.

Both organizers are hoping to raise $20,000.
