Three local businesses damaged due to fire

A Mountain Road business has been damaged by fire.

The blaze at Freddie’s Pizza was reported at around 2:15 pm Sunday.

Acting Platoon Chief for Moncton Fire Captain Serge Boudreau says flames could be seen coming from the front door when they arrived.

The fire was extinguished quickly, but there is fire, water and smoke damage at Freddie’s Pizza.

It will remain closed until repairs can be done.

Two adjacent businesses have been forced to close for a few days, due to water damage.

Luckily, no one was hurt in the fire.
