Students at Petitcodiac Regional School are heading home early on Thursday.
The Anglophone East School District said the school is closing early due to a power outage.
According to NB Power’s website, there is an outage impacting nearly 1,000 homes and businesses.
Affected communities include Petitcodiac, River Glade, Wheaton Settlement, Cornhill, Intervale, Hillgrove, Glenvale, Anagance, Second North River, and Salisbury West.
The estimated restoration time is between 3 and 4 p.m. Thursday.
