An ambulance was quickly recovered after being stolen from The Moncton Hospital.
A spokesperson for Ambulance NB confirmed that the theft happened on Monday.
“RCMP was contacted and the unit was located shortly thereafter without any damage or missing equipment,” Eric Robichaud said in an email.
Robichaud said the ambulance was recovered on Collishaw Street and inspected before being returned to service.
No patients or paramedic staff were injured, he said.
