Students compete in Skilled Trades and Technology

Thirty-seven New Brunswick students are showing off their talents in skilled trades and technology.

They’re competing at the 2023 Skills Canada National Competition in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Fifteen are from high school and 22 are in post-secondary education.

All the individuals representing each of their categories have already won gold medals in this year’s Skills Canada New Brunswick Provincial Competitions that took place around the province earlier this year.

The Skills Canada National Competition is the only national, multi-trade and technology competition for students and apprentices in the country.

Each year, more than 550 competitors from all regions of Canada travel to SCNC to participate in over 40 skilled trade and technology competitions.
