Fire has caused extensive damage to a garage on Atlantic Baptist Avenue in Moncton.
Platoon Chief Mike Lake says the structure was fully engulfed when they arrived shortly after 11 Sunday night.
Two cars in front of the garage were also on fire.
Lake says firefighters from three stations helped to battle the blaze.
It took around 45 minutes to get it under control.
Lake says there was a full roof collapse, and firefighters had to return about an hour later after a flare-up.
Fire investigators are working to determine a cause.
