Kent Koyotes win N.B. junior hockey title

The Kent Koyotes have clinched the New Brunswick Junior Hockey League title for 2022-23.

Kent defeated the Moncton Vitos 3-1 on Thursday night to take the best-of-seven series in six games.

Joshua Breault, Jeremy Caissie and Alex Ferguson scored for Kent while Brock Forsythe picked up a goal for Moncton.

The Kent Koyotes will now advance to the Don Johnson Memorial Cup, which will take place in Liverpool, N.S., from April 25 to 30.
