An inmate serving time for second-degree murder has died while in custody.
Dean Michael Devenny had been serving an indeterminate sentence since December 1989.
He died on Friday, March 31 at the Dorchester Penitentiary.
All cases involving an inmate’s death are investigated by the Correctional Service of Canada.
