WestJet adds flights between Greater Moncton and Calgary

WestJet is expanding its direct flights to Calgary in July and August.

Starting June 14, trips between the Greater Moncton Roméo LeBlanc International Airport (YQM) and Calgary will increase from three to five times per week.

Additionally, WestJet will also extend the Calgary service into September and October by maintaining two flights per week.

President Courtney Burns says previous passengers would be flying West for work, “Leisure is almost taking up more than it would have several years ago. There’s still a lot of folks on those flights working out West, but not as many as in the past.”

Starting on June 29, WestJet will also offer two non-stop flights per week to Edmonton from YQM.

“Our biggest news recently has been the WestJet news, with the new flights to Calgary and Edmonton. We’re very excited about those. We’re continuing to work with our other airline partners to see what else we can bring,” Burns says.

Bookings for these new flights can be done immediately.
