Snowy conditions forecast for Thursday and Friday

It’s March, and if you’re not a winter sports enthusiast, you may be looking for a sign of warmer weather, but winter isn’t letting go just yet.

Snowfall warnings are in effect for central, southern and southeastern parts of the province.

Environment Canada says we could see up to 25 centimetres of snow on the ground by the time this system wraps up Friday morning.

The weather predictions say precipitation will be light and fluffy, beginning later on Thursday.

There could be some impacts on travel though, with driving conditions changing from community to community.

As for the students, school is on for today. No cancellations have been reported for Thursday.
