Environment Minister Recovering After Surgery

New Brunswick’s environment minister is recovering following surgery, according to the premier.

Hampton Progressive Conservative MLA Gary Crossman underwent bypass surgery on Friday.

In a statement, Premier Blaine Higgs said the surgery went well and Crossman is “recovering comfortably.”

“You are an integral part of our team Gary, and we look forward to your return to work once you are back on your feet,” Higgs said in the statement, posted to Facebook on Monday.

Crossman has represented the Hampton riding in the legislature since 2014.
