New Pickleball Courts Planned For Dieppe In 2023

The sport of pickleball will see growth in Dieppe in 2023.

Fans of the sport will have more places to play by later this year.

In a year-end interview, Mayor Yvon Lapierre told us they will see the construction of ten outdoor courts, “Big demand and a lot of pressure on the council to deliver on that, so we found the perfect site for it next to the Arthur J Leblanc Arena.”

Lapierre says pickleball is seeing huge growth in North America, and there were a lot of requests for these courts.

“All of the work in terms of Engineering and land and so on has been happening already, but the rest will be mostly happening this spring so we are ready for the summer season,” Lapierre adds.
