Fatal Crash On Highway 17 In Robinsonville

Two men have died in a three-vehicle collision near Campbellton.

RCMP says two pickup trucks and an SUV crashed on December 4th on Highway 17 in Robinsonville.

It’s believed the driver of a pickup truck crossed the centre line and collided head-on with a pickup truck travelling toward Campbellton. The driver of the SUV was unable to stop in time and collided with one of the pickup trucks.

A 35-year-old and a 20-year-old from Kedgwick, who were driving the trucks, died at the scene.

Two passengers were also taken to hospital with what are believed to be serious injuries.

Autopsies will be scheduled to determine the men’s exact causes of death.
