$250K Worth Of Items Stolen From Riverview Public Works Depot

Around $250,000 worth of items were stolen from the Town of Riverview’s public works department on the weekend.

Mounties said they were called to the town’s Operations Centre on Robertson Street on Saturday.

Staff Sgt. Thierry Malenfant said the break-in and theft are believed to have happened sometime the night before.

Malenfant said the items taken included two vehicles, tools and generators — most of which were later relocated.

Police had yet to make any arrests as of Monday morning as their investigation continues.
