Fatal Single Vehicle Crash In Haut-Sheila, N.B.

Two men have died following a single-vehicle crash in Haut-Sheila, N.B.

RCMP say a car crashed on Route 370 at around 7:20 pm Monday night.

An 18-year-old passenger from Chiasson Office, N.B, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A second 18-year-old passenger from Paquetville, N.B., was taken to hospital where he later died as a result of his injuries.

The driver of the vehicle was also transported to hospital with what are believed to be serious, life-threatening injuries.

It’s believed the driver lost control of the vehicle and it went into the ditch before rolling several times.

Police say speed is believed to be a factor in the crash.

Members of the Tracadie Fire Department, Ambulance New Brunswick, and an RCMP collision reconstructionist also attended the scene.

Autopsies will be conducted to determine the men’s exact causes of death.
