Open Houses At Riverview And Dieppe Fire Departments

As a part of Fire Prevention Week, two open houses will be held at local fire halls.

Dieppe will welcome the public on Saturday, October 15th from 10 am until 2 pm at their fire station located at 500 Gauvin Road.

There will be information booths, fire station tours, fire truck displays, inflatable games, face painting and a community BBQ, raising funds to benefit Muscular Dystrophy Canada.

The Town of Riverview will also hold its open house on Saturday, October 15th, from 8 am until 2 pm at 650 Pinewood Road.

It will include a pancake breakfast, equipment displays, antique fire trucks and a Barbecue.

The theme for this year’s Fire Prevention Week is “Fire Won’t Wait. Plan Your Escape™”. Fire Department employees will review good practices to use daily with respect to fire hazards.

The Moncton Fire Department held its annual open house on October 1st.
