Community Meeting About Bad Odour Planned

Moncton deputy mayor Bryan Butler wants to assure residents of the North End he hasn’t given up on the bad odour plaguing the neighbourhood.

Butler said a meeting was recently held between the City of Moncton and provincial officials including MLA’s over the persistent smell.

He said a community meeting is being planned for October 26 for North End residents.

“We’re going to keep this on the forefront and we’re going to get to the bottom of it and see if next summer can be a great summer and I can see you on your patios.”

Although the meeting is set for October 26, Butler said a location is now being sought and will be announced shortly.
