Students Offered Support After School Bus Crash

Support services are being made available today to students affected by a recent school bus crash on McLaughlin Drive.

Spokesperson for Anglophone East School District Stephanie Patterson says a car crossed the centre line on Friday afternoon and hit the bus after it had come to a stop.

The bus ended up in the ditch.

Patterson adds no one was injured in the collision.

Parents were notified and another bus was dispatched to pick up the students.

Patterson says the Education Support Services team is checking with students on the bus today to offer assistance to those who need it.
