A fire in a home near Miramichi has left eight people temporarily displaced.
The fire broke out early Sunday morning on Lloyd Street in the Douglastown area.
The Canadian Red Cross is assisting with emergency purchases including food and clothing.
Three also were provided emergency lodging. Five others are staying with friends or relatives in the community.
