Fire Displaces Three Residents In Saint John

A home on Molson Avenue in west Saint John has been damaged by fire.

When firefighters arrived just after midnight on Friday night, Acting Platoon Chief Patrick Thebeau says there were flames and smoke coming from the rear of the home.

Thebeau says crews had the fire knocked down within an hour but continued to look for hot spots.

Three residents managed to get out safely and are receiving assistance from the Canadian Red Cross.

There’s no word on a cause yet.
