Closures On Main Street Due To Atlantic Nationals

You can expect some delays and closures in downtown Moncton starting today.

Main Street from Mechanic to Downing Streets will be completely closed starting at 1 pm on Thursday today until 3 am on Saturday morning.

This is to allow for the setup of the Atlantic Nationals Automotive Extravaganza.

Other street closures will be in effect from 6 a.m. on Friday, July 8 to 3 a.m. on Saturday, July 9:

A full closure of Main Street from Mechanic Street to Lutz Street.
A full closure of Westmorland Street from Main Street to just past the entrance of the Moncton Market.
A full closure of Botsford Street from Main Street to Queen Street.
A full closure of Downing Street from Main Street to Assomption Boulevard.

Cars go on display on Main Street starting at 8 am Friday morning with displays, food, vendors, and entertainment tomorrow night featuring Chilliwack.

Those vehicles, plus hundreds of others move to Centennial Park for the weekend.
