Due to a physician shortage, Horizon Health says the emergency department at the Sackville Memorial Hospital will be temporarily closed on Thursday, June 23.
Patients and clients will not be seen and ambulances will be diverted to other hospitals.
Horizon says the emergency department will reopen on Friday, June 24 at 8 a.m.
Anyone who needs urgent medical care will need to seek treatment at another hospital.
