Suspension Of Pediatric Services At Georges-Dumont Hospital

Pediatric services at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre are being temporarily suspended due to a shortage of medical staff.

Vitalité Health Network says this will take effect at 8am Friday morning and will remain in place until Friday, June 17, at 8am.

Anyone requiring pediatric services during the temporary interruption must go to the Emergency Department where patients will be treated on a case by case basis.

There is the possibility of being redirected to another facility of the Network.
