On June 29th, you’ll want to look up.
The Canadian Forces Snowbirds will do a flyover of Greater Moncton starting at 5pm
It’s their only scheduled date for the province on this year’s tour.
Their twilight show that will begin over the Petitcodiac River will be centred on Bore Park in Moncton.
The Organizing Committee expects this event will serve as a kickoff for the Canada Day weekend festivities.
They anticipate 10,000 spectators on the waterfront for the event.
The day’s program begins with a military equipment display on Downing Street from noon until the end of activities at 8pm.
More details will be available in the coming weeks.
This performance is in partnership with the Soldier On organization; a Canadian Forces charity that benefits ill and injured Canadian Forces soldiers and veterans.
“The Snowbirds received such an incredibly warm response on our stop here for Op Inspiration in 2020. Having grown up in Dieppe, it’s with great pride
that I’m able to bring the team to where my dreams in aviation began,” says Captain. Richard MacDougall.
