Electric Vehicles Available For Test Drives

If you’ve ever wanted to drive an electric vehicle, you’ll have a chance this weekend in Dieppe.

The health and environmental benefits of electric vehicles are being promoted by the New Brunswick Lung Association under its program which is called Drive Electric Atlantic.

Spokesperson Alyse Wilton says a test drive event is coming up in Dieppe which will be the first one in 2022.

“We have seven vehicles on Saturday and six on Sunday. And there are still lots of spaces available for people to book a test drive.

“On Saturday we’re also going to have several different booths from community organizations. The local electric school bus will be there with a bus driver to answer questions.”

The test drive event is being held at the Arthur J. LeBlanc Arena from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Participants must be at least 19 years old and have a valid driver’s licence.
