Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Crash Involving Fire Truck

A man suffered serious injuries in a collision on Salisbury Road between Ontario Road and Upper Mountain Road.

Caledonia RCMP Sergeant Tamara Patterson says officers responded to a two vehicle collision at around 4:45 Sunday afternoon.

She says it involved a motorcycle and a Salisbury Fire and Rescue vehicle.

The driver of the motorcycle was taken to hospital.

Patterson says the road was closed for almost five hours as the investigation was ongoing.

They are still trying to determine a cause for the crash.
