A large seizure of Benzimidazole, otherwise known as Shady 8, which is connected to an increase in overdoses in the province over the last few months.
Miramichi Police picked up over 200 of the suspected pills in a raid last week.
The Drug Enforcement Unit also arrested two men.
Joseph Mills is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking Benzimidazole and also Hydromorphone.
He is also facing charges in connection with another arrest in October of 2021.
