The dragons return to Jones Lake this year after a two year hiatus due to the pandemic.
The Dragon Boat Festival is planned for June 3rd and 4th.
Co-Organizer Norval McConnell says high school students will compete on the first day, with 25 teams registered so far.
Sixty per cent of the funds raised goes to the Lions Sick Children’s fund.
$1.5 million has been raised since 2006.
The other forty per cent goes to the charity of choice by each team.
Corporate teams will compete on day two of the festival.
