Mechanic Settlement, Saint John Top Rainfall Totals

Parts of New Brunswick picked up more than 70 millimetres of rain during Tuesday’s storm.

Mechanic Settlement, near Fundy National Park, recorded 77 millimetres, according to Environment Canada.

Saint John received 73 millimetres of rain, while St. Stephen reported 60 millimetres.

Greater Moncton saw significantly less, with only around 25 millimetres reported at the airport.

Wind gusts of 83 kilometres per hour were reported in both Moncton and Saint John.
