An investigation by the Moncton Fire Department and Codiac Regional RCMP is underway to determine the cause of a vehicle fire.
Platoon Chief Paul Bruens said a crew responded to a report just after 8 p.m. Sunday for a vehicle fire on Winnipeg Street.
Upon arriving on the scene, the crew of five firefighters found a vehicle that Bruens said was “fully involved,” but did not possess any exposure hazards.
Firefighters quickly put out the blaze and were only on the scene for about 15 minutes.
Bruens stated it remains under investigation by fire investigators and Codiac RCMP.
