Many Schools Closed Due To Weather

Students are getting the day off today.

Anglophone East and Anglophone North schools are closed today.

Francophone South School District has also closed most of its schools, with the exception of Saint John and Quispamsis.

This is due to impending weather.

Areas including Kent County, Miramichi and the Acadian Peninsula are under a snowfall warning, with up to 30 centimetres of snow.

The forecast for Moncton and Southeast New Brunswick is calling for snow and rain today with a risk of freezing rain. Environment Canada is forecasting up to five centimetres of snow today and 10 millimetres of rain.
