Betty White Challenge Raises Over $21,000 For Local SPCA

More details about a story we told you about earlier this week.

The Greater Moncton SPCA has updated its total raised in the Betty White Challenge.

It was held on Monday, January 17th, on what would have been the celebrity’s 100th birthday.

The local SPCA had set a goal of $2000, but instead, the challenge has now raised almost $22, 000, with donations still coming in.

They plan to use some of the money to renovate one of their cat rooms.

White passed away on December 31st, but she was recognized because of her love of animals.

Over $60,000 was raised for shelters across New Brunswick.
