New Year, New Fuel Hikes In N.B.

Slight increases in fuel prices are being predicted during the first week of the new year.

Dan McTeague, president of Canadians for Affordable Energy, believes gasoline is going up by about one cent per litre.

Diesel will likely rise by less than one cent.

The current maximum for regular self-serve is $1.437, the maximum for diesel is $1.539 and for heating oil is $1.358.

The provincial regulator will adjust prices at midnight.
