Bar Clams Recall In Moncton

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has announced a recall involving bar clams purchased in the region.

Moncton Fish Market brand bar clams which have been sold unrefrigerated from the marketplace are being recalled because the product may permit the growth of a bacterium known as Clostridium botulinum.

The recalled product has been sold at Moncton Fish Market.

CFIA says don’t consume the product, throw it out or return it to the store.

The agency says so far there have been no reports of illnesses linked to the product.
