Over 18, 000 Pounds Of Food Donated To Fill The Bus

A reminder that today is the day when Christmas food boxes will be delivered.

Volunteers with vehicles are needed to help deliver them.

Lineups begin to form at the Moncton Coliseum before 12:30pm.

Volunteers are asked to follow COVID-19 safety protocols. Wear a mask, and when pulling in to be loaded up with your deliveries, stay in your vehicle.

1700 Christmas food boxes are being delivered this year.

Meantime, the Fill the Bus campaign wrapped up yesterday, with representatives from Anglophone East School District collecting donations from each of the schools..

18, 603 pounds worth of food, with a value of 48, 368 dollars was collected.

All of the donations go to the Food Depot Alimentaire.
