COVID-19 Outbreak In Nephrology Unit At George-Dumont Hospital

A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared on the Nephrology Unit of the Dr. Georges Dumont University Hospital Centre.

Vitalite Health Network says two patients and a health care worker on the unit were diagnosed with the virus.

Visitors are currently not permitted in that unit of the hospital.

The Network says the outbreak is not directly impacting the care and services being delivered in the rest of the facility.
