Musical Theatre Returns With The Sound Of Music

The Sound of Music is returning to the Capitol Theatre, for the sixth professional musical theatre production.

This is a partnership with New Brunswick Youth Orchestra’s Tutta Musica.

It will be presented from February 26 to March 6th, 2022.

Last winter’s musical production was cancelled due to the pandemic.

Director Marshall Button says they auditioned close to 100 potential cast members.

40 performers were chosen, with 19 who are current or former members of the Capitol Theatre Academy.
