Four Arrested In Moncton Drug Trafficking Probe

New Brunswick RCMP arrested four individuals and seized several types of drugs, prohibited weapons and money as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation in Moncton.

Police arrested a 46-year-old woman outside a business on Filles de Jesus Avenue (off Elmwood Drive) on October 7th.

Officers later searched a home on Elmwood Drive and seized what are believed to be methamphetamine pills, ecstasy pills, hydromorphone pills, oxycodone pills, as well as psilocybin mushrooms, prescription pills, contraband cigarettes and cannabis.

Police also seized prohibited weapons, drug paraphernalia and money.

The 46-year-old woman was later released and is scheduled to appear in Moncton Provincial Court on January 20th.

Three other individuals were arrested at the scene and later released.

This was a Provincial Crime Reduction Unit operation which included police officers from New Brunswick RCMP, Woodstock Police Force and Fredericton Police Force with help from Codiac RCMP.

Anyone with information about illegal drug activity in their neighbourhood is asked to contact police.
