U18 Moncton Flyers Hold Annual Pre-Season Jamboree

If you’re a hockey fan, there will be a lot of action on the ice at the Superior Propane Centre this weekend.

The Moncton Flyers will be hosting the annual NB/PEI Major U18 Hockey League’s “Pre Season Jamboree”.

President Blair Brooks says there are six teams with each of them bringing up to 28 players, “The roster at the end of the day will be 20, so it is a tryout schedule of sorts. It is very exciting and everyone is right into it and wants to play.”

After the shutdown due to COVID-19 last year, everyone is eager to play, “Applications to compete in the jamboree came in quick this year.”

Brooks says tickets are still available and can be purchased at the Centre.

Games get underway at 8am, Saturday, September 11.
