Heat Warning For Wednesday And Thursday

Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for inland areas of southern and central New Brunswick.

The warning applies to a number of regions, including Sussex, the Kennebecasis Valley, St. Stephen, Moncton, and Fredericton.

“A warm and humid airmass will settle over the province Wednesday and Thursday,” said the national weather agency.

Forecasters say temperatures will reach the low 30s with humidex values between 36 and 39. Overnight lows are only expected to reach 18°C.

Cooler conditions are expected to return on Thursday night, according to Environment Canada.
