UPDATE: Missing Man Found Deceased

The 29-year-old man from Elsipogtog First Nation who had been reported missing has been found deceased.

RCMP say volunteers with the Tri-County Ground Search and Rescue team located the individual in a wooded area in Elsipogtog.

Police do not believe this is a criminal matter.

Landon Augustine was last seen on July 16 and he was reported missing to police on July 19.

An autopsy will be scheduled to determine the man’s exact cause of death.
