Residents in the area of the Irishtown Nature park received a warning from the city of Moncton on Sunday.
A bear was sighted near the entrance of Malcolm’s Way Trail.
Signs were installed at the entrances of the trails.
A post on the City of Moncton Facebook page stated anyone in the park should take extra caution and avoid approaching a bear if one is spotted.
