Burn Ban Continues Into Long Weekend

New Brunswick’s forest fire watch contains burn bans for most of the province, to start the Victoria Day weekend.

The counties of Saint John, Queens and Kings will remain open while the counties of Kent, Albert and Westmorland are only permitted to burn between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m.

The remaining counties will be closed for burning until at least 2 p.m. on Saturday when the burning conditions are updated.

New Brunswick’s first burn ban of the year was issued on Thursday afternoon.
