Codiac Regional RCMP Superintendent Tom Critchlow is calling it a career.
In his regular update to Moncton City Council, Critchlow made it publicly known that he will be retiring this spring.
The process of finding a new Officer In Charge, to lead the policing service that oversees Moncton, Riverview and Dieppe, is already underway.
Critchlow noted that in the event his successor is not found before he leaves, Codiac RCMP Inspector Ben Jolette will fill the role on an interim basis.
The last day for Superintendent Critchlow will be May 31st.
