It’s a case of the missing letter.
And questions are being raised on social media.
The “R” on the Avenir Centre sign has disappeared and it has been missing for several weeks.
Some are asking was it was stolen? Or did it fly away?
Centre Spokesperson Bonnie Porter told us, “It was damaged in a windstorm, and it is going to be replaced in the next couple of weeks.”
She adds it’s a very large sign so it is taking a bit of time to fabricate but will be replaced as soon as its ready.
