An early morning collision McKees Mills, has claimed the lives of a 19-year-old man from Esgenoôpetitj First Nation and a 34-year-old man from Saint Charles.
The Richibucto RCMP , Cocagne Fire Department and Ambulance New Brunswick responded to a two-vehicle accident on Route 11 near kilometer marker 25.
It is believed that a car travelling southbound crossed the centerline and struck another vehicle heading northbound. Both drivers died at the scene and there were no other passengers.
The highway reopened just before noon.
Route 11 near Cocagne is now open.
